We want you to be totally satisfied about the products you purchase from Hairvac online. If at any time within 30 days of receiving your order, you are not 100% satisfied, you may return it to us for a refund. No questions asked. Any items damaged due to reasons not covered under warranty cannot be accepted back for refund under our 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Also, associated shipping fees are not refundable. NOTE: this guarantee only applies to orders placed on Hairvac website at Hairvac.com.au.

HAIRVAC WEBSITE RETURN INSTRUCTIONS:

If you bought your product directly from Hairvac.com.au, and you are not satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of receipt, you can return it following the below procedure. Your card will be credited upon receipt of the returned merchandise for the amount of the vacuum only (& not the freight).

• Request an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number & form from Hairvac Customer Support by clicking on the Contact Us link at the top of the website and filling out the standard enquiry form.
• Package products along with a copy of the RMA form.
• Write the RMA number on the outside of the box and send to (items must be received by Hairvac within 14 days of issuing the RMA):

WARRANTY REPAIR & REPLACEMENT SERVICE INSTRUCTIONS:

Hairvac will replace your product or part free of charge if your product or part has a manufacturing defect that is covered by the warranty below. Hairvac is not responsible for shipping costs associated with warranty returns.

• BEFORE sending anything to Hairvac, please contact our Customer Support Team by clicking on the Contact Us link at the top of the home page. We are often able to solve the problem quickly via email.
• If our Customer Support Team determines that your problem qualifies under warranty coverage, you will be issued an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
• Prepare a package to return to Hairvac.
• Please include your original receipt and a clearly written explanation of the problem.
• Write your RMA number on the outside of the box and send to:

Returns that don't qualify for warranty coverage will be returned to customers. It is vital that you communicate with Hairvac’s Customer Support Team before sending in your return. Please contact us by clicking on the Contact Us link or email support@hairvac.com.au.

HAIRVAC PRODUCT WARRANTY:

Hair Vac Pty Ltd Vacuum (Model no. HV100) is guaranteed against manufacturing defects one (1) year from the original date of purchase. Hairvac’s sole obligation in the event of such defects during this period is to repair or replace the defective part or product with a comparable part or product at Hairvac’s sole discretion. Except for such repair or replacement, the sale, processing or other handling of this product is without warranty, condition or other liability even though the defect or loss is caused by negligence or other fault. Damage resulting from use, accident, or normal wear and tear is not covered by this or any warranty. Hair Vac Pty Ltd assumes no liability for any accident, injury, death, loss, or other claim related to or resulting from the use of this product. In no event shall Hair Vac Pty Ltd be liable for incidental or consequential damages relating to or resulting from the use of this product or any of its parts. Please review and follow all instructions carefully before using your vacuum for the first time. Returns or replacements of parts and/or products may be subject to shipping, handling, replacement and/or restocking fees.

Note that if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods we might not be able to accept their return. Otherwise, we will refund the full purchase price to you.

Goods returned by you because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund for costs incurred by you in returning the goods to us.

+- How do I know when the bag is full?

• Always turn the power off and unplug the lead from the power point whenever replacing the bag, cleaning or servicing your vacuum.
  
• You may notice reduced suction of your Hairvac, this is one of the first signs that the bag is full.
• Once you start using your vacuum for the first time we recommend you check the bag every couple of days to get some indication as to how long it takes to fill under normal cleaning conditions.

+- How do I replace the Bag.

• Always turn the power off and unplug the lead from the power point whenever replacing the bag, cleaning or servicing your vacuum.
  
• Remove the lid by lifting it straight up from the top of the canister.
• Carefully remove the existing bag by gently pulling at the cardboard collar. The bag is durable, but please take care it doesn’t rip if the bag looks overfull or hasn’t been changed for some time.
• Unfold your NEW disposable paper bag at the seams and extend it fully so there is a good volume of air inside it. Please ensure this is done especially near the top of the bag to prevent blockage & lack of suction. By not following this step your Hairvac will not operate at full performance.
• Take hold of the cardboard support of the bag and associated rubber gasket that surrounds the hole in the middle of it and slip it well over the exposed end of the bag adaptor.
  Note: It is not necessary to enlarge the bag opening, as it will fit over the adaptor with a little persuasion.
• Fit the lid back on the canister. Failure to do so will result in no vacuum pressure and hence no suction. Check your power supply is switched back on.

+- How do I get the most life out of my vacuum?

• Always turn the power off and unplug the lead from the power point whenever replacing the bag or cleaning your vacuum.
  
• Your Hairvac has been designed to operate practically maintenance free. To ensure you get maximum life out of your vacuum please regularly check that the there isn’t a build up of hair at the base of the canister around the filter. Regularly dust the filter out to make sure you remove any hair and dust. Please make sure to place the filter back in its spot before using the vacuum again.

+- My Hairvac has stopped sucking or not sucking up as well?

• Check to see if the lid is securely fastened on top of the canister.
• Check to see if the Bag is full to capacity. If yes, dispose and replace with a new bag.

+- I need to replace a damaged footswitch

• The Hairvac footswitch is made of Iron so it is designed for heavy industrial usage. If damaged has occurred due to wear and tear you can order a replacement switch online. You will need to get a licensed electrician to replace the switch for you.

+- Shipping Cost Calculation & Policy

• Shipping cost is determined by the weight & size dimensions of your purchased items, the distance between our warehouse in Sydney and your shipping address, and how quickly you request the package be delivered. We use the cheapest and most basic delivery method possible from either of our freight forwarders. Australia Post is for small domestic packages and TNT for larger items including international. We do not mark up on the shipping costs to you.
  
  Customers with shipping addresses outside of Australian shipping zone are solely responsible for all duties, import taxes and brokerage fees. These are not included in the cost of shipping or handling of your order. Customs, duties, and taxes vary widely from country to country; please check with your local customs agency for details on estimated costs. Customs, duty, and taxes are non-refundable: so if you refuse a shipment because of unexpected import fees, the cost of the original shipping, any brokerage/customs/duty/taxes, and any return shipping charges will not be refunded.

+- Additional Service & Support

• If the Vacuum requires replacing any electrical item such as the footswitch, power cord, or the motor sustained due to damage or wear and tear we recommend you get a licensed electrician to replace any parts. Please do not attempt to replace or service any parts yourself.
• We advise you email us directly at support@hairvac.com.au or call us on 1300 724 396 and we would be happy to step you through the correct procedure on any issue you may have.

Eligibility

• Entry to the competition is open to residents of all states of Australia Only. These include the states of NSW, ACT, VIC, QLD, NT, SA, WA and TAS.
• An entrant's residential or business address will determine what state the entrant resides for the purpose of this competition.
• Entry is open to Facebook users. Hair Vac Pty Ltd will only recognise competition entry submissions through this medium only.
• Employees of the promoter and any person associated with the competition, or with the provision of the prize(s), are not eligible to enter.
• All entrants must be over 16 years of age and are either an employee or owner of a Hair Salon or Barber in Australia.

Competition period

• The competition opens at 0900 AEST on Thursday, 16th July 2015 and closes at 1700 AEST on Sunday, 16h August 2015.
• Any entry received after the expiry of the competition period will be deemed invalid. No responsibility is accepted for late entries.

How to enter

To enter the competition, individuals must be part of the Facebook network. An entry will be acknowledged when:

• Hair Vac Pty Ltd official Facebook account is followed (Hairvac).
• Individual must Like the official Hairvac Facebook page (Hairvac).

Entrants are encouraged to share the Video that will be posted on the Hairvac Facebook page. Sharing the Video post is NOT a Condition of Entry to this competition.

Your Entry & Prize

• Hair Vac Pty Ltd will acknowledge all entrants if they meet the Terms & Conditions of this competition, and will draw a winner randomly from a Barrel once the competition closes.
• Hair Vac Pty Ltd reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who Hair Vac Pty Ltd has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Hair Vac Pty Ltd to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. • If for any reason a winner does not respond within 3 months, then the prize will be forfeited; and another winning entry will be drawn. The draw will take place at Enid Ave Roselands, NSW, 2196 Australia on 17/11/2015 at 10am AEST and the winner will be notified by being tagged directly in a post on the official Hairvac Facebook & Instagram account.
• Entrants may choose to unlike the Hairvac Facebook page at any time; however entrants must be a Liker at time of the winner being notified in order to redeem the prize. Should the entrants not be a Liker of the Hairvac Facebook page at time of the winner being notified, they will forfeit the prize, and another winner will be drawn.
• There is a total of 1 (one) prize to be won with a total value of AUD $416.90 RRP.
